Robyn Rihanna Fenty popularly known as Rihanna is a Barbadian singer-songwriter who gave us hit songs such as Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. She is still in her prime. Rihanna has emerged as one of the music's top artists. Barbados born, she listened to reggae as she got older and started singing by herself, when she was a teenager. The singer was disturbed by the chaos in her family, and by the frequent disagreements among her parents. She decided to immerse herself into music. When she was still in high school she joined a musical group and was invited to perform to be a part of Evan Rodgers. The producer was very impressed with the ability of this girl. The producer asked her to make the move to New York in order to pursue a full-time career as a performer, something she readily accepted. Rihanna quickly became a star following her first release. Young people adored the songs that were upbeat, and this inspired Rihanna to make movies. Being a gifted young lady Rihanna is regarded as a teenage idol. Rihanna uses her celebrity to good use, and is active in a variety of charitable causes
