Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's food is a way to enter her mind. She began to be interested in food when she moved from suburban Long Island to the diverse culture that is Los Angeles. Cavatelli, carnitas, and various other cuisines can be found within a menu. The menu is constantly changing sensibility. Inspired by her Italian-American heritage Lofaso established Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 that was immediately a hit. Lofaso's old-school Italian interpretation is considered to be one among Los Angeles' most captivating dining establishments. The restaurant is frequently praised by Scopa's patrons for its food, which is authentic and deliciously satisfying. Lofaso was an apprentice of culinary experts learning their methods and taking risks. She did not hesitate to do so to follow her intuition. She quickly rose through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago before moving further to collaborate with celebrities in various Los Angeles kitchens. In the year 2011, Lofaso partnered with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to open Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. The Lofaso had found a home in the Black Market. Her creative independence will be facilitated by this collaborative effort. Black Market does not have one direction which is the reason why it was created. A meal could start with potato chips and peppers Dill. Then it's Korean meatballs and wings. Antonia is the anchor for this bold array of tastes. Lofaso assesses the success she has had over the course of her career based on her natural ability to understand her audience and remain loyal to her character. She's appeared on of a variety of television shows such as Top Chef Chicago, Top Chef: All Stars as well as Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child on The Food Network and ABC's Real O'neals. Her talents continue to be recognized in her role as a judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup. Lofaso has teamed up with Penguin to release The Busy Mom's Cookbook - 100 Recipes For Quick Delicious Home Cooked Meals in the year 2012. This book also reveals about the struggles she faced as a mother of Xea and pursuing her studies at the French Culinary Institute. Lofaso claims that her enthusiasm for cooking is the driving factor behind her success. She stays in the know through keeping a keen to the latest trends and fashions.
