Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is a Romanian actress. Her debut on screen was Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film in which she won the British Academy Television Award as the best actress. French, German English and Romanian are the most spoken languages. Her mother played the violin, Her father is a theatre professor at one of the best Romanian acting schools. She won the Best Female Actor Award for the Year in 2000 at the Mangalia Young Actor Gala. In 2008, she was honoured as the 'European Shooting Star' European Shooting Star' by the European Film Promotion Board. She taught four years at University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu Iasi. bAnamaria Marina is an Romanian actress born at Iasi Romania on 1 April 1978. A performer of Romanian descent Anamaria Marinca made her debut on the screen with the British-Canadian TV film Sex Traffic for which she won the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress. The actress's debut film, Sex Traffic, won an award from the British Academy of Television, in the category of Best Actress. She also won numerous honors for her work in the film 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days a Romanian Art Film. She starred as a Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 luni3 Two days, 4 months (four months three weeks and two days) and was given with the Palme d'Or and other prizes at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Additionally, she was a part in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she was the character Yasim anwar in BBC series The Last Enemy. Marinca appeared as Yasim Anwar as part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven, and also the Romanian drama Boogie. She appeared as Irma on Fury 2014, in which she portrayed a German known aunt for Emma.
