Jana Kramer became famous on the television show, playing Alex in the One Tree Hill series' last three seasons. Her first few releases as a country artist included in episodes of the series helping her debut album, titled "Eponymous," in the top 20 of the Billboard 200. Her follow-up album from 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The decade ended with her appearances on Dancing with the Stars, television shows, and singles that were not album tracks. The self-doubting Voices came out in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up within Rochester Hills Michigan. She spent her childhood listening to the country genre, and eventually went on to explore a career in recording. She began her acting career as an teen in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead. After a few guest appearances on All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's role as a regular in NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. Kramer later appeared on television as Portia Ranson on 90210 between 2008 and 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. She became a part of the cast on CW One Tree Hill in 2009 in the role of Alex Dupre, and she continued to appear until the end of the show in 2012, about halfway into. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her sign a record contract with Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary love song from the country genre, I Won't Let Go. The song was later featured as a track on Jana Kramer, her debut album, which was released in 2012. It climbed to number 5 on Billboard Top Country Albums. She continued to act in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. Kramer launched her second studio album Thirty One in collaboration with Warner Music Nashville, in October of 2015. I Got the Boy - the album was a Top Five Country hit - as well as Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer in a duet helped her album make it to the top ten of the Billboard 200. Beginning in September 2016 her two month stint on 23rd series of Dancing with the Stars ended with a 4th place finish. The singer also had an adult contemporary smash in the form of Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
