Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America, is an actress and singer. Her birthplace was Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier as well as Tom Bell. Her parents are born in Polish heritage (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen's passion for acting was recognized at an early age. When she was in 1992, the actress attended her first audition, and was able to win the role of Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell was signed by her mother as an agent when she was only thirteen years old. Bell was later chosen for the newspaper advertisements and TV commercials. As well as having private lessons, she began her acting career at that time. Bell made an appearance in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell took part in the Drama and Music Club at Shrine Catholic High School. The school's stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell was chosen to play Dorothy. Following graduation, Bell moved in New York City to attend prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in which she learned about musical theatre. In 2001, Bell quit her university in order to play the role as Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credits in Pootie Tang in 2001. Her scene, however it was cut and her appearance only appears in the final credits. Bell played in the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
