Najarra Townsend

Najarra was three when she figured out what she wanted from life. When she was a child she began modeling in addition to doing shows on local stages. The actress continued to perform in theatre and musicals for the rest of her teens. Najarra made her first appearance in the world of film at ten years old, costarring on the film "Menace". Najarra has been recognized internationally for her performance in "Me and You and All the People We know" that won Sundance and Cannes Awards in 2005. The film featured her as the titular character in numerous films like "Tru Loved" as well as 'Marin blue', & "Betty I am". Audiences got to discover another side to her young actor when they were able to watch the horror film "Contracted", which was released by IFC Midnight in 2014.
