Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass is a Greek-American musician, and a founding member of the heavy-metal band Motley Crue. Lee Bass also serves as the long-term band drummer. He also co-founded Methods of Mayhem, an rap band. Lee has also been involved in various solo music projects. Lee has a strong support for PETA and animal rights. Lee wrote Terry Prather in protest of Tilikum's treatment in 2010. Lee thought the animal should be freed and stated that SeaWorld did not agree as Tilikum is their primary source of the sperm. Lee wrote that he was disgusted by SeaWorld's ill-conceived and twisted methods for obtaining Tilikum sperm. Lee stated that he wanted to avoid tragedies similar to trainers' deaths, which was due to the whales' inability to be kept captive.
